Privacy Policy

How The United Sky Travel LLC handles your personal information. Last updated July 29, 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how The United Sky Travel LLC, trading as The United Sky(“we”, “us”), collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you use theunitedsky.com or contact our booking desk.

1. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details — name as it appears on your government ID, date of birth, email address, phone number and billing address.
  • Travel details — routes, dates, cabin preference, frequent flyer numbers, seat and meal preferences, and any assistance requirements you choose to share.
  • Travel document details — passport, visa or redress number where the airline or a government authority requires them.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes or authentication credentials on our systems.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and pages viewed, collected through standard web logs and cookies.
  • Call records — calls to our booking desk may be recorded for quality assurance and dispute resolution. You will be notified at the start of the call.

2. How we use your information

  • To search, quote, book, ticket and service your travel reservations.
  • To transmit the details airlines and suppliers require to issue your ticket.
  • To notify you of schedule changes, cancellations and irregular operations.
  • To process payments, refunds and chargebacks.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
  • To send marketing communications where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. When we share information

We share personal information only as needed to deliver the service you asked for:

  • Airlines and travel suppliers — to create, ticket and service your reservation.
  • Global Distribution Systems and consolidators — the booking infrastructure through which fares are sourced and tickets issued.
  • Payment processors — to authorize and settle transactions.
  • Service providers — hosting, communications, customer support and analytics vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities — where required by law, subpoena, or where a government mandates advance passenger information.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

4. International transfers

Air travel is inherently international. Your details may be transferred to airlines, suppliers and support teams located outside the United States. Where that happens we require appropriate contractual safeguards.

5. Data retention

We retain booking records for as long as needed to service your travel and for the period required by tax, accounting and consumer-protection law — typically seven years — after which records are deleted or anonymized.

6. Security

We apply security practices aligned with the PCI DSS standard, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, network firewalls, endpoint protection and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, request disclosure of the categories of information collected and to whom it was disclosed, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@theunitedsky.com or call 1-888-555-0123. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some site functions may stop working if you do.

9. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information except as part of a booking made by a parent or guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
